Hello, people. I’m a huge music fan and the whole universe that surrounds it. Its immensity is such that I think I haven’t even scratched the surface, even though a big part of my life is dedicated to the discovery and appreciation of music. I’ve learned that my time is better spent on listening well to the music than downloading everything on my path. Isn’t that the point, anyway? Music has no value without the pleasure it inspires in its listeners.
2011 is ending; it’s time to reflect on everything, I guess, including on my music. My first run of entries, then, will be regarding my favorite albums and tracks of 2011. I’ll write full reviews for my top 20 albums and my top 30 tracks, but first, I’ll list the ones that “didn’t make the cut” (whatever the worth of that phrase is, I’ve heard it in reality shows, I dunno).

I’m sure I’ve missed some great stuff, and that’s not even considering I only listen to works of the Western world. But, like I said, I’m not interested in the amount of music I listen to; I rather give my full attention to the enjoyment of the music.
I sure hope as fuck I finish this.
